Ostatnimi czasy (zanim jeszcze szkoła i egzaminy, moje i mojego mężczyzny pochłonęły mnie bez reszty), przeglądając internet, wpadłam na trop pewnych spodni, które od razu zwróciły moją uwagę. Piękny kolor, czysta, geometryczna forma zainspirowały mnie do stworzenia tego:

Lately (before still the school and examinations, my and my man, grab me wholly), flick the Internet through, I spoted of certain trousers, which at once returned my attention. Beautiful colour and clean, geometrical form inspired me for creating it:

Ponadto nasunęła mi się pewna reflekcja na temat trwających już od dłuższego czasu, a nawet rzekłabym - kończących się wyprzedaży, aby w wśród migających neonów wystaw sklepowych, zachęcających nas do kupienia wszystkiego po okazyjnej cenie (a jak wiadomo atrakcyjna cena sprawia, że nagle wszystko staje nam się bardziej potrzebne), zatrzymać się na chwilę, pomyśleć... przywołać w swej głowie piekne obrazy stworzone przez wielkich kreatorów mody, obraz tego, co urzeka nas od lat; od lat nie tracąc na wrtości. Wtedy ruszyć pewnym krokie, z podniesioną głową i wśród wielu cenowych niebezpieczeństw, znaleźć prawdziwe perły... ach... jakoś tak poetycko się zrobiło... chyba się rozmarzyłam...

Moreover overtake me certain reflection arose at the topic lasting already for a long time, and even I would say - of ending sales, in order to amongst blinking neon lights of shop windows, encouraging us buying everything at a bargain (and as everybody knows the attractive price causes that suddenly everything is becoming for us more needed), to stop for a moment, to think... to refer in one's head fine images created by great fashion designers, image of what is beguiling us for years; for years not losing on wrtości. Then to move certain krokie, with the raised head and amongst many price dangers, to find real pearls... ah... somehow so poetically was formed... probably I was lost in daydreaming...

Alicja w Krainie Czarów...

Jakiś czas temu zachwyciłam się fotografiami Kasi Widmańskiej, a mówię o tym nie bez powodu. Otóż w piątek (8 stycznia), w Warszawie, w Galerii Pauza, odbyła się wystawa zdjęć Kasi, zatytułowana "Alicja w Krainie Czarów". Zdjęcia przenoszą nas w oniryczną rzeczywistość stworzoną przez wybitnego pisarza Lewisa Carolla, w XIX wieku. Główny temat Widmańskiej - KOBIECOŚĆ - i tym razem odciska pietno na jej fotografiach, pełniąc rolę pryzmatu, przez który możemy oglądać historię tytułowej Alicji. Jest to zupełnie nowe, świerze spojrzenie na magiczny świat stworzony przez Carolla, a nie zaś jedynie odtworzenie fabuły. Warto zwrócić uwagę nie tylko na dobór postaci, lecz także na sposób ich przedstawienia.

Na uwagę zasługuje również fakt, że artystka podczas tworzenia zdjęć nie była jedynie fotografem, lecz także sama tworzyła stylizacje, scenografie i część kostiumów. Prawda, że utalentowana?

Samej wystawy niestety nie mogłam obejrzeć, ale poszperałam tu i tam, i znalazłam kilka ciekawych zdjęć, które mnie oczarowały i zainspirowały. A Wy, co sądzicie? Zobaczcie sami!

Some time ago I enthused about photographs for Kasia Widmańska, and I am talking about it not without reason. So on Friday (8 January), in Warsaw, in the Gallery Pause, an exhibition of photographs was held for Kasia, titled "Alice in Wonderland". Photographs are moving us into oneiric reality created by the outstanding writer of Carolla Lewis, in the 19th century. Main topic of Widmańska - Femininity - and this time is impressing pietno on her photographs, performing the role of the prism, by which we can watch history for title Alicja. It is brand new, świerze looking at magic created world by Carolla, rather than whereas only reconstructing the plot. It is worthwhile directing the figure's attention to the selection not only, but also to the way of describing them.

A fact that the artist while creating photographs wasn't only a photographer is also meriting attention, but alone she also created styles, film sets and the part of costumes. True, that talented?

Unfortunately I could not watch very exhibition, but I poked around here and there, both I found a few interesting photographs which enchanted me and they inspired. And you, what do you think? See alone!

Postanowienie noworoczne:
"Robić to, na co do tej pory nie miałam odwagi".

I oto jestem, pełna nadziei, optymizmu i zapału! Naładowana pozytywną energią z ciekawością i odwagą wkraczam w nowy 2010 rok. Mam nadzieję, że będzie dobry, czego sobie i Wam życzę.

Nie ukrywam, że już od długiego czasu pilnie śledzę poczynania wielu niezwykle inspirujących i zdolnych bloggerek i muszę przyznać, że nie raz byłam pod ogromnym wrażeniem. Trzeba przyznać, że w ostatnich latach blogi modowe i szafiarskie (tzw. lookbooki) rozwijają się w zawrotnym tempie. Coraz częściej buszując w przestrzeni internetowej, odkrywam w jej zakamarkach "perełki", którymi się zachwycam i w których zakochuje się od pierwszego wejrzenia. Z wypiekami na twarzy wyczekuję i śledzę także poczynania wielkich kreatorów i domów mody, niejednokrotnie dokonując krytycznej oceny tego co mi serwują.

W końcu więc przyszedl moment, kiedy postanowiłamsama spróbować swoich sił i zasmakować ciężkiego życia bloggera. Na razie nie mam ściśle sprecyzowanego planu na temat zasad funkcjonowania tego miejsca. Jedyne co tak naprawde chciałabym tu uczynić, to stworzyć przestrzeń - otwartą przestrzeń do dyskusji o modzie i sztuce, które łączą się i przeplatają w moim codziennym życiu.

A więc zabawę czas zacząć!

And here I am, full of hope, the optimism and the enthusiasm! Loaded up with the positive energy with the curiosity and the courage I am entering into new 2010. I hope that it will be good year, what jfor me and for you I wish.

I am not concealing that since the long time urgently I am already watching the work many extremely inspiring and gifted bloggerek and I must admit that more than once I was under the huge impression. I must admit, that in final years blogs about the fashion and lookbooks are developing at full speed. More and more often rummaging about in the Internet space, I am discovering in corners of the "pearl", with which I admire and which is falling in love at first sight with. With a flush on one's cheeks I am waiting and I am keeping up with also actions of great fashion designers and fashion houses, many times effecting the criticism of what for me they are serving.

In the end so the time came, when I decided alone to try my powers and to taste the heavy life bloggera. At the moment I don't have the closely specified plan about principles of functioning of this place. Only whatever actually I would like here to do, to create the space - open space to discussions on the fashion and the art which are uniting and alternate every day in my life.
